Football Game Preview: Assumption Mustangs vs. South Lafourche Tarpons

The Assumption Mustangs will face off against the South Lafourche Tarpons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Assumption will be strutting in after a win while South Lafourche will be coming in after a loss.

Assumption gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They came out on top against A.J. Ellender by a score of 24-17. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, South Lafourche entered their game against Vandebilt Catholic on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Tarpons took a hard 34-20 fall against the Terriers.

Assumption's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for South Lafourche, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
