Hollins takes loss despite strong efforts from Aidan Lemons and Josh Castallani

Recap: Hollins Royals vs. Shorecrest Prep Chargers
The Hollins Royals have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell just short of Shorecrest Prep by a score of 52-50. If Hollins hoped to take revenge for the 63-41 loss against they when the teams met on Thursday, then they were left disappointed.
Hollins' loss came despite strong showings from Josh Castallani and Aidan Lemons. Castallani dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Lemons scored 17 points along with four steals. The match was Lemons' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Miller, who scored 11 points along with seven assists.
Hollins' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4. As for Shorecrest Prep, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Hollins and Gulf Coast HEAT will round out the year against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. Gulf Coast HEAT comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Shorecrest Prep will finish 2023 at home by hosting Saint Stephen's Episcopal at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
