Basketball Recap: Leflore County Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Leflore County can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They snuck past the Charleston Tigers with a 27-21 win. This was a revenge game for Leflore County: when they faced off against Charleston back in January, they had to take a 42-33 loss.

Leflore County can attribute much of their success to Antionette Holston, who went 6 for 12 on her way to 12 points along with seven boards and four steals.

Leflore County's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Charleston, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-10.

Leflore County will square off against North Side at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Charleston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
