Baseball Recap: Denver Academy Takes a Loss

If Denver Academy was riding high fresh off their 14-4 takedown of Weldon Valley on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Denver Academy lost 21-1 to Dawson School on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for Denver Academy in their meetings with Dawson School: they've now lost eight in a row.

Denver Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Ortman, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Denver Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Dawson School, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.
