Baseball Game Preview: RHAM Raptors vs. East Catholic Eagles

The RHAM Raptors will challenge the East Catholic Eagles at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

RHAM is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Connecticut's top teams: Windsor, who was ranked 13th at the time (RHAM was ranked 14th). The Raptors fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 6-4 on Monday. The Raptors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, East Catholic came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They beat Enfield by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-3. Surprisingly, this marked East Catholic's fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

RHAM's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-1. As for East Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.

RHAM was able to grind out a solid win over East Catholic in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 4-1. Will the Raptors repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
