Football Recap: Dooly County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Dooly County extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 12 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-2. They had to suffer through a 53-0 loss at the hands of the Worth County Rams. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 317th, while the Rams are ranked 97th).

As for Worth County, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 43 points thus far.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Worth County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaden Chester, who rushed for 101 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries. Treshaun Jones was another key rusher, rushing for 72 yards and two TDs.

After each having a week off, Dooly County and Irwin County will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on September 12. As for Worth County, they will head out to challenge Brooks County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
