Basketball Recap: Joshua Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Harvest Christian Academy last Monday, Joshua Christian came back down to earth. The Joshua Christian Knights took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the DasCHE Spartans on Thursday. The Knights lost against the Spartans in their previous head to head back in January of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 55-15 score last time.

Joshua Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for DasCHE, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Joshua Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Johnson County Sports Association at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Johnson County Sports Association has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for DasCHE, they will head out to challenge Ovilla Christian at 1:30 p.m. on December 20th.
