After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Woodstock, Riverheads was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Staunton Storm as they made off with a 12-5 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Gladiators as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Riverheads' win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Staunton, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Riverheads will face off against Buffalo Gap at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Staunton, they will square off against Charlottesville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
