Baseball Game Preview: Harbor Springs Rams vs. Kingsley Stags

The Harbor Springs Rams will challenge the Kingsley Stags at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Harbor Springs has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Kingsley will arrive with five straight victories.

On Thursday, Harbor Springs didn't have quite enough to beat Charlevoix and fell 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Rams have lost by just one run.

Ben McShannock spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kingsley). They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over Cheboygan on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Kingsley's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Harbor Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
