Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kearney). They breezed by the Winnetonka Griffins to the tune of 74-21 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bulldogs with their most commanding win of the season.

Brooke Paalhar was nothing short of spectacular: she went 6 for 15 on her way to 19 points along with seven steals and six assists. Those seven steals gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn Lincoln, who posted eight points and nine boards.

Kearney smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Kearney's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Winnetonka, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Kearney and Winnetonka could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Kearney (ranked 209th) will meet Oak Park (ranked 22nd) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Winnetonka will take on Grandview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday down 201 places (378 vs. 177).
