Baseball Recap: Woodland Regional Hawks vs. Oxford Wolverines

After flying high against Seymour last Saturday, Woodland Regional came back down to earth. The Woodland Regional Hawks fell just short of the Oxford Wolverines by a score of 4-2 on Monday. It was the first time this season that Woodland Regional let down their fans at home.

Woodland Regional got a good showing from Tyler Yoxall, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Yoxall has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive pitching appearances.
