Softball Game Preview: Rittman Indians vs. Fairless Falcons

The Rittman Indians will square off against the Fairless Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rittman has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 7.

Norwayne hit Rittman with a eight-run fourth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Indians lost 15-5 to the Bobcats.

Rittman saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lillian Halliwell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Meredith Brown was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Fairless fell victim to Canton South and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 7-0. The Falcons have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Rittman's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Fairless, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.
