Basketball Recap: Pope County Takes a Loss

Pope County lost against Century back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pope County Pirates fell 61-52 to the Century Centurions. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pope County's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Century, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-9.

Coming up, Pope County will be playing at home against Joppa-Maple Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Century, they will head out to face off against Hardin County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
