Dinwiddie is 8-2 against Petersburg since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Generals will square off against the Crimson Wave at 6:00 p.m. Dinwiddie's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Dinwiddie came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to Prince George.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Petersburg was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They fell just short of Matoaca by a score of 2-1.

Dinwiddie's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Petersburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Dinwiddie was able to grind out a solid victory over Petersburg in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 3-1. Do the Generals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Crimson Wave turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
