Recap: Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors vs. Hozho Academy Wolves
The Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors stacked a fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They breezed by Hozho Academy on the road to the tune of 55-27. That's another feather in the cap for Tse' Yi' Gai, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Brienna Toledo was her usual excellent self, scoring 31 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Tse' Yi' Gai's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alicia Ramon, who scored ten points.
Tse' Yi' Gai has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Hozho Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
Tse' Yi' Gai will head out on the road to face off against Pine Hill at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Mexico (Pine Hill is ranked 91st, while Tse' Yi' Gai is ranked 71st). As for Hozho Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bosque at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
