Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After soaring to 71 points the game before, Trinity Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They were dealt a 57-24 loss at the hands of the University School of Jackson Bruins. The Lions have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Trinity Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Mallory Arnold, who posted seven points. Another player making a difference was Rylee Hidrogo, who put up five points.

Trinity Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for University School of Jackson, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Trinity Christian Academy and University School of Jackson should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. Trinity Christian Academy (ranked 123rd) will meet Bolivar Central (ranked 310th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trinity Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.9 points per game this season. Similarly, University School of Jackson will challenge Jackson Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday up 67 places (35 vs. 102).
