The Gunnison Valley Bulldogs''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They breezed by Parowan at home to the tune of 46-0. The result was nothing new for Gunnison Valley, who have now won four games by 22 points or more so far this season.
Gunnison Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andres Valencia, who picked up 113 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Valencia was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 69 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Tucker, who threw for 113 yards and three touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes.
Gunnison Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Parowan, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-10.
Gunnison Valley will face off against Beaver at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Beaver is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games. Parowan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
