Softball Recap: Warren Central Takes a Loss

Warren Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wesson Cobras. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cobras this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 two weeks ago.

Warren Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Wesson, their record is now 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warren Central will venture away from home to take on Germantown at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wesson, they will head out to face off against Bogue Chitto at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Wesson's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Bogue Chitto's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
