Baseball Game Preview: Stuart Hall Knights vs. International Jaguars

Stuart Hall has gone 7-1 against International recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Stuart Hall Knights will be playing at home against the International Jaguars at 3:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Stuart Hall has three straight wins, International has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Stuart Hall's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Bentley as Stuart Hall made off with a 22-0 victory. Geno Putt was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. Putt is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

In other batting news, Alex Heinicke was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last ten games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was William Malko, who scored four runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Stuart Hall always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .758. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .514 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, International lost 20-1 to Berean Christian on Saturday.

International's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Stuart Hall, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Stuart Hall was able to grind out a solid victory over International in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 6-3. Will Stuart Hall repeat their success, or does International have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
