It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pershing County had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sierra Lutheran Falcons. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-1 victory two weeks ago.

Pershing County's offense was headlined by Kenya Vaughan and Jaymie George, who picked up five kills apiece. George really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with eight. Arya Garland controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Pershing County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-13 record this season. As for Sierra Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-9.

Pershing County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Yerington on the 1st. Sierra Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
