Barr-Reeve has gone 6-0 against Eastern Greene recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Barr-Reeve Vikings will welcome the Eastern Greene Thunderbirds at 7:30 p.m.

Barr-Reeve saw some tournament action last Saturday. They fell 42-35 to Vincennes Lincoln. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Defeat or not, Barr-Reeve got some senior leadership from Landon Miller and Seth Wagler. Miller posted six points and six rebounds, while Wagler put up eight points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Korben Boyd, who had five points.

Meanwhile, it may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Eastern Greene ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past Monrovia 66-63. With that victory, the Thunderbirds brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.

Eastern Greene's win came from a few key players Barr-Reeve will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kyan Hudson, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 27 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Coby Sykes, who went 10 of 17 on his way to 23 points and five rebounds.

The win was the third in a row for Eastern Greene, bringing their record for this year to 4-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Barr-Reeve, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Keep an eye on the arc in Friday's contest: Barr-Reeve has been dynamite from deep this season, having made 38.5% of their three-pointers per game. It's a different story for Eastern Greene, though, as they've only made 26.8% of their three-pointers this season. Given Barr-Reeve's sizable advantage in that area, Eastern Greene will need to find a way to close that gap.
