Basketball Recap: South Shore Comes Up Short

South Shore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Washburn Castle Guards, falling 66-30. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Castle Guards this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-38 back in January.

South Shore's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Washburn, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

South Shore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-13 victory against Butternut on the 11th. As for Washburn, they have also already played their next matchup, an 80-62 defeat against Bayfield on the 11th.
