Volleyball Game Preview: Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs vs. Shelton Bulldogs

The Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs will take on the Shelton Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Sumner-Eddyville-Miller sitting on five straight wins and Shelton on three.

On Tuesday, Sumner-Eddyville-Miller earned a 2-0 victory over Arcadia/Loup City.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17.

Mia Scoville and Lily Hrasky were among the main playmakers for Sumner-Eddyville-Miller as the former had five digs and two aces and the latter had nine digs.

Meanwhile, Shelton got the win against Kenesaw on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller's record now sits at 22-6. As for Shelton, their record is now 23-4.

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller couldn't quite get it done against Shelton in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
