Softball Game Preview: Green Level Gators vs. Cary Imps

The Green Level Gators will take on the Cary Imps at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Green Level will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

Green Level managed to slip by Green Hope the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Gators came up short against the Falcons on Tuesday, falling 12-6.

Brooke Conrade made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Stella Pepin was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Cary lost 24-12 to Green Hope on Monday.

Catherine Baker was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenzie Watkins, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Green Level dropped their record down to 4-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Cary, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Green Level got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Cary by a conclusive 22-7 score. Do the Gators have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Imps turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
