Softball Recap: Antonian Prep's Run of 19 Straight Wins Now Over

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Antonian Prep can now relate to. They came up short against the John Paul II Cardinals on Tuesday, falling 12-2. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Apaches, who until this matchup were averaging 4.06 runs allowed.

Antonian Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ale Santoyo, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. Another was Bella Vasquez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.
