Basketball Recap: Leroy-Ostrander Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

LeRoy-Ostrander had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past the Mabel-Canton Cougars with a 48-44 victory on Thursday. This was payback for the Cardinals, who suffered an 86-68 defeat the last time these two teams met.

LeRoy-Ostrander got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Camden Hungerholt out in front who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hungerholt has scored at least a third of LeRoy-Ostrander's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reid Hungerholt, who went 7 of 17 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds.
