Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Abingdon). Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 89-53 stomp they got against the Staunton River Golden Eagles. The victory was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Abingdon's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Staunton River, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Abingdon will host John Battle at 8:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Staunton River, they will look to defend their home court on January 7, 2025 against Lord Botetourt at 7:00 p.m.
