Basketball Recap: Greenfield/Northwestern Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

Greenfield/Northwestern extended their home winning streak to seven games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Talon Albrecht. The Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers really took it to the Pleasant Hill Wolves for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-40 victory thanks in part to Albrecht, who went 13 of 29 en route to 35 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Greenfield/Northwestern has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Pleasant Hill, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Greenfield/Northwestern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-41 defeat against Staunton on the 28th. As for Pleasant Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 67-41 loss against West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] on the 29th.
