Basketball Game Preview: Parkers Prairie Panthers vs. Hancock Owls

Parkers Prairie hasn't had much luck against Hancock recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Parkers Prairie Panthers will face off against the Hancock Owls at 7:15 p.m.

Last Thursday, Parkers Prairie lost to Underwood on the road by a 66-50 margin. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Hancock had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Monday. They blew past the Vikings, posting an 84-42 victory. The Owls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Hancock's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.8 points per game. As for Parkers Prairie, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Parkers Prairie was taken down by Hancock 84-45 in their previous meeting back in January. Can Parkers Prairie avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
