Shelton won the last time they faced Red Cloud and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Warriors 2-1.

Shelton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-17, 25-17.

Erin Gegg paced Shelton's offense, picking up 14 kills. Gegg got some help from Macy Willis and her 18 assists. Willis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

The victory got Shelton back to even at 3-3. As for Red Cloud, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Shelton has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Harvard on the 4th. As for Red Cloud, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Franklin on the 4th.
