Soccer Recap: Monrovia Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Monrovia duked it out with Lemoore on Saturday. The Wildcats came up short against the Tigers, falling 4-1. That's two games in a row now that Monrovia have lost by exactly three goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Monrovia and nudges their season record down to 2-4-1. As for Lemoore, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monrovia will take on Maranatha in a tournament on Friday. As for Lemoore, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Golden West at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
