Baseball Recap: Falmouth Extends Winning Streak to Three

Falmouth had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the New Bedford Whalers by a score of 5-2. That's more bragging rights for the Clippers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Max Inman was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. That double was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Tre'Chaun Days, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Falmouth now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for New Bedford, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Falmouth will take on Dennis-Yarmouth Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Clippers 3.3, the Dolphins 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for New Bedford, they will face off against Middleborough at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
