Slidell had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.8 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 58-44 victory over the Salmen Spartans. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

Salmen's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kendal Thomas, who posted 20 points. Thomas has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Neveah Magee, who had seven points and ten rebounds.

Slidell's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Salmen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.

Coincidentally, Slidell and Salmen will both be playing Chalmette the next time they take the court. Slidell will host Chalmette at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Salmen will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
