Baseball Recap: Dixie Heights Colonels vs. Beechwood Tigers

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Dixie Heights's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beechwood Tigers on Tuesday. The Colonels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Ian Meyers was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. What's more, he gave up only two walks, the fewest he's had since back in March.
