Recap: Murtaugh Red Devils vs. Carey Panthers
The Murtaugh Red Devils lost against the Carey Panthers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The matchup between Murtaugh and Carey wasn't particularly close, with Murtaugh falling 50-31. Murtaugh has not had much luck with Carey recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Carey's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Owen Parke, who scored 14 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. It was the first time this season that Parke posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Preston Wood, who scored 18 points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
Murtaugh has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Carey, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-9.
Murtaugh does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Carey also has no future games currently scheduled.
