Baseball Recap: Carmichaels' Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Carmichaels entered their tilt with Frazier on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Commodores by a score of 13-8. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mighty Mikes also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2022.

Jas Zdravcky tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched.

At the plate, Robbie Wilson-Jones was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Ankrom, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Carmichaels kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Carmichaels' victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Frazier, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carmichaels will take on Jefferson-Morgan at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Frazier, they will face off against Charleroi at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
