Eldred hasn't had much luck against Chester recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Yellowjackets will be playing at home against the Hambletonians at 4:30 p.m. Eldred is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season.

Eldred lost 10-2 to Highland on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eldred saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marissa Gochenour, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Jillian Smith also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Chester, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past Liberty 12-2 on Friday. The Hambletonians haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Chester's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Eldred, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
