Volleyball Recap: Rockford East Gets the Win

Rockford East won the last time they faced Belvidere North and things went their way on Tuesday too. The E-Rabs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Blue Thunder, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the E-Rabs have posted since April 3rd.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Rockford East who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-14.

Rockford East found their leader in sophomore Harsh Valand, who had 15 assists and six digs.

Rockford East's win bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Belvidere North, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the defeat, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.
