Volleyball Recap: Wallkill Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Wallkill had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Saugerties Sawyers by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 last Saturday.

Wallkill walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 13-25, 25-20.

Wallkill's victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Saugerties, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Wallkill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against Nightingale-Bamford on the 6th. As for Saugerties, they will square off against Roosevelt at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
