After failing to score in their last game, Gardendale made sure to put some goals up on the board against Woodlawn on Monday. They blew past the Woodlawn Colonels 11-0. That 11 goal margin sets a new team best for the Rockets this season.

Their offense was hitting Woodlawn from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Tindel Holsomback led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Gardendale now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Woodlawn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gardendale will head out to take on Mortimer Jordan at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Woodlawn, they will venture away from home to challenge Wenonah at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Woodlawn is facing Wenonah at the right time seeing as Wenonah is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
