Baseball Recap: Lindsay Victorious

While Lindsay's win against North Hopkins wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lindsay Knights narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the North Hopkins Panthers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Knights have posted since March 29, 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Lindsay and bumps their season record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for North Hopkins, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Lindsay will be taking part in a tournament against Olney at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Hopkins, a feisty cat fight will be fought as North Hopkins Panthers face off against Whitewright Tigers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
