Soccer Game Preview: Magnificat vs. Highland

The Magnificat Blue Streaks are taking a road trip to take on the Highland Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Magnificat's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Magnificat's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They skirted past GlenOak 1-0.

Meanwhile, Highland entered their tilt with Avon on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Eagles. Considering Highland have won nine matchups by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory got Magnificat back to even at 4-4-4. As for Highland, their win bumped their record up to 11-1-1.
