Soccer Game Preview: Redlands vs. Citrus Valley

The Redlands Terriers will head out to take on the Citrus Valley Blackhawks at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Redlands and three for Citrus Valley.

Redlands lost 6-1 to Redlands East Valley on Tuesday. The Terriers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, Citrus Valley was not quite Yucaipa's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They came up short against the Thunderbirds, falling 6-3. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 806th, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 283rd).

Redlands' loss dropped their record down to 1-15-1. As for Citrus Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10-2.
