Volleyball Recap: Ramsey Comes Up Short

Ramsey lost against South County back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rams took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vipers.

Kelli Cook paced Ramsey's offense, picking up seven kills. Cook got some help from Mia Waggoner and her six assists. Cali Hill controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Ramsey has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for South County, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Ramsey has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Springfield Southeast on the 13th. As for South County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Mt. Olive on the 13th.
