Volleyball Recap: Spanaway Lake Comes Up Short

Spanaway Lake had lost six straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 1-12 to make it seven. They came up short against the Bethel Bison, falling 3-0. The Sentinels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bison apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Tofoi Gatoloai paced Spanaway Lake's offense, picking up six kills. Gatoloai got some help from Aliana Siguaw and her 12 assists.

As for Bethel, they moved to 4-11 with that victory, which also ended their ten-match losing streak. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).

Among those leading the charge was Kailub Munoz, who had 18 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

As of now, neither Spanaway Lake nor Bethel have any future games scheduled.
