Preview: Mauldin Mavericks vs. T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets
The Mauldin Mavericks will be playing in front of their home fans against the T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Mauldin sitting on three straight victories and T.L. Hanna on four.
Last Tuesday, Mauldin didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Woodmont, but they still walked away with a 58-54 victory.
Mauldin got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Sullivan out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Stewart, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, T.L. Hanna was able to grind out a solid victory over Woodmont on Friday, taking the game 56-45.
Mauldin pushed their record up to 10-10 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for T.L. Hanna, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.
