Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Addison Headley and Annabelle Pritchard

Jefferson lost against North Oconee back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Dragons came up short against the Titans, falling 3-0.

Jefferson was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 25-14.

Despite the defeat, Jefferson had strong showings from Annabelle Pritchard, who had nine digs and eight assists, and Addison Headley, who had ten digs and four assists.

North Oconee can attribute much of their success to Addie Stewart, who had ten aces. Those ten aces gave Stewart a new career-high.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 24-9. As for North Oconee, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 32-8.

Jefferson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Seckinger on the 2nd. As for North Oconee, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Hebron Christian on the 2nd.
