Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Red Oak's 15th in Last 17 Outings

Red Oak had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the White Longhorns on Friday as the Red Oak Hawks made off with a 56-34 win. This was a revenge game for the Hawks: when they faced off against the Longhorns back in November of 2024, they had to take a 60-56 loss.

Victoria Harden was the offensive standout of the contest as she posted 21 points. Those 21 points gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kierstyn Totten, who earned 13 points.

Red Oak is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 games, which provided a massive bump to their 22-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.1 points over those games. As for White, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-10.
