Baseball Recap: IMG Academy Silver Now 10-1 over Last 11 Games

IMG Academy Silver's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Boca Ciega Pirates.

Henry Britt and JP Piles did most of the damage at the plate: Britt went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run, while Piles scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave Piles a new career-high. Jonathan Marzullo was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

IMG Academy Silver always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

IMG Academy Silver is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
