Westminster School had home field advantage when it faced off against Canterbury School two games ago, but the team wasn't able to capitalize. Westminster School wasn't expected to win (the team is 24 ranks behind in the state), but no loss is easy.
King's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 21 points in the first half. That put it at a 21 - 6 advantage. Its success only continued in the second half, where it racked up an additional 27 points.
The win got King up to 3-0. The defeat brought Westminster School down to 0-2.
Both King and Westminster School will be guarding their home fields in their upcoming games. King will square off against Kingswood Oxford this Saturday at 3:30 PM. King has the odds in its favor, so it won't want to drop the ball. As for Westminster School, it will face off against St. Luke's Saturday at 3:00 PM.
